This really depends on the breed, age and how much they like to chew. A medium dog usually needs a medium size chew, for example. Don't give your dog stuffed toys as there is a risk the dogs will chew through and ingest the filling. Rawhide chews, if consumed, are difficult to digest and can cause intestinal obstruction which can be dangerous for your dog.
